Introduction to Computers (12 hours/$128) 1.2 CEU's

Build your computer skills on a solid foundation! This is a Basic class for persons who have little to no familiarity with computers. Students will be introduced to the components of a typical computer system, including both the hardware and the Windows operating system. File and desktop management, which are important to effective computer usage, will be explored. Students will also learn how to access the Internet and will be introduced to the various MS Office products.

IOS Basics iPad Basics (7 hours/$56) 0.7 CEU's

Are you new to iPad, iPhone, and iOS? never used a compter before? Our iOS Basics class is designed strictly for beginners: you'll learn the essential skills needed to get you up and running on your new device. At the end of the session there will be time for questions. There is no need to bring your own iPad, but it is recommended. Use this class to learn about: The lock screen and pass code protection, the search screen, the home screen, app arrangement, deleting, folders, general settings, music, the app store, making purchase, finding apps, software updates, multitasking interface, control interface, Airplay, Safari, bookmarks, tabs, user guide, action button, Google search, Air Pring, mail, attachments, editing text, iBook, photos (taking, viewing, and sharing).

PC Repair and Upgrade (16 hours/$128) 1.6 CEU's

Learn to perform basic and preventative maintenance; anaylze and correct system malfunctions; and install/upgrade components on your own home PC.

MS Excel 10 Level I (12 hours/$128) 1.2 CEU's

This course provides instruction in the concepts, procedures, and application of electronic spreadsheets as created in Excel. Students will learn terminology and begin working with spreadsheets, workboos, formulas, functions and formatting.

MS Excel Level II (12 hours/$128) 1.2 CEU’s
Unleash the power of Excel! Begin customizing your spreadsheets by working with charts, advanced formulas, and graphic objects. Analyze and organize your workbook data with tools such pivot tables and pivot charts.

QuickBooks Level I (12 hours/$130) 1.2 CEU's

Students will learn how to properly create a QuickBooks company file set up and manage the chart of accounts, customers, vendors, employees, and items; create invoices, estimates and purchase orders; manage accounts payables and receivables; and manage and reconcile bank accounts using the latest version of QuickBooks.

QuickBooks Level II (18 hours/$150)1.8 CEU’s

Students will learn how to customize the look of templates as well as create reports and graphs; learn how to balance credit card accounts as well as current and fixed assets and depreciation; track and pay sales tax; set up a payroll system and pay government liability taxes; and use QuickBooks in conjunction with the internet to handle online banking transactions using the latest version of QuickBooks.

Beginning Excel (7 hour/s$56) .7 CEU’s
Do electronic spreadsheets intimidate you? In this course, you will learn to manage the power of Excel. You will learn preparation and formatting techniques, how to insert texts and formulas into cells, how to use simple functions, how to construct charts for your data, how to format and print selected ranges, and about workbooks and moving data between workbooks.

This course is an introduction to word processing using Microsoft Word including terminology, editing functions, formatting and options. It will allow users to create professional documents such as resumes, letters and reports.

Expansion of preparation and formatting techniques using Microsoft Excel and the incorporation of more complex formulas and formats to enhance spreadsheets and record editing.

Chances are that even if you are already using Outlook, you haven’t discovered many of its scheduling and organizational features. Learn to create new messages, schedule appointments/tasks, manage messages, create/manage contacts, and create and manage tasks/notes. Communicate and coordinate your schedule with family, friends and colleagues.
