Hill College

Community Engagement

The Division of Community Engagement provides Hill College faculty, staff and students, as well as, our community members, with a centralized location in which to engage in activities that serve the communities where we teach, live and learn.

Hill College supports the communities we serve through on-going collaborations with our community partners. Through these activities and partnerships, we seek to provide opportunities to expand and improve the quality of life of those who live and work in our communities. To this end, we have committed as an institution to provide cultural, athletic and educational activities for all to enjoy.

Our students, faculty and staff engage in ongoing community outreach projects ranging from Flu Clinics to Food Drives, Locks of Love to Financial Literacy Brown Bag Lectures, Dig Pink Night (supporting Breast Cancer Research) to Guns and Hoses (supporting people affected by recent area fires). We encourage our students to get involved with our local communities at all levels.  Hill College students are out and about making community a priority.

The Alden Smith Speaker Series, Performing Arts Series, Texas Heritage Museum and Hill College Athletic activities are other ways in which we engage our community, we invite you to join us!

In addition, Hill College offers Continuing Education, Life-Long Learning and Corporate Training programs to meet community members' needs for quick, flexible, supplemental occupational training and education, as well as leisure learning opportunities.
