Unless the course description or title indicates otherwise, there will
be no age limit or minimum level of formal education for continuing education/workforce development classes.
Class Cancellation
A class will be cancelled when there is insufficient enrollment prior
to the first class meeting. Students will be notified of class cancellations by phone, letter or e-mail. Refunds will be processed automatically.
A 100 percent refund will be given to students when the college cancels a class.
A 100 percent refund will be available to students who withdraw from a course(s) prior to the first class meeting of a course; the
withdrawal must be made at the Continuing Education Office during normal working hours.
No refunds will be given once the first class meeting of a course begins.
Continuing Education Units (CEUs)
For many of the courses, when the student
satisfactorily completes the course, CEU’s will be awarded. The Southern Association of Colleges and Schools determine specific
courses and the number of CEU’s awarded. Students participating in CEU designated courses will have a permanent transcript on file
with the Hill College Admissions/Records Office.
Registration and Payment
Registration for classes may be
completed by mail or in person at the Burleson, Cleburne, Clifton, Glen Rose or Hillsboro offices during the regular business hours of
8am-noon and 1-4pm, Monday thru Friday. Registrations are accepted on a first-come basis. Payment for courses is required at the time of
registration and may be made by check, money order, MasterCard, Visa, American Express, Discover or cash. No registration is complete
until full payment is received. Payment must be made in full by the first scheduled class.

Certificates
Upon satisfactory completion of
Continuing Education and/or Workforce Development courses, students will be awarded certificates in recognition of their achievement. The
cost of the initial certificate is included in the course fee.
Location of Classes
Most classes will be held in buildings
located on the Hillsboro, Clifton, Glen Rose or Johnson County Campuses. In some instances, the class may be held at a special location
designed for that class. Location of classes will be listed in the class schedule.
Registration Schedule
Students may register for classes any
day the college is open between the hours of 8:00 AM and 4:30 PM, Monday through Thursday and 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM on Friday (with the
exception of the Glen Rose Campus). Please note the last date to register for each class.
