Hill College Men's Soccer
Head Coach Dejan "Milo" Milosevic

Dejan “Milo” Milosevic returns to Hill College for his first year as the Head Coach of the Men’s Soccer program.
Milosevic comes to Hill College from Louisiana State University, Shreveport (LSUS), where he was the head women’s soccer coach. Prior to that, he was the associate head men’s coach at Texas Wesleyan University (TWU). He also served as an assistant coach at Hill College under Paul Davenport, Head Coach of the Women’s Soccer program, helping the women’s soccer team win two regional championships and make an appearance in the district finals.
While at TWU, Milosevic helped the Rams improve their record from 4-14 in his first year to 11-5-2 in his last year. After moving to LSUS as the head women’s coach, he took the Pilots from a losing season of 6-8-2 to a winning season of 9-5-3 while maintaining an overall 3.42 team GPA.
During his soccer career at Texas Wesleyan University, he was selected twice for the All-Red River Athletic Conference (RRAC) and was awarded the RRAC defensive player of the year as a junior. He also helped the team to its first National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) national tournament appearance and set the school’s single-season record for goals.
Prior to his career at Texas Wesleyan, he played for Arizona Western College, where he was named Most Valuable Player in the 2010 Region 1 finals. He then signed with the Dallas Sidekicks, where he played as goalkeeper. He later went on to represent Serbia, his home country, in the 2015 Indoor World Cup. He has also served as the director of coaching for the Sting Soccer Club, Dallas; the Fort Worth FC; the Dallas Texans Soccer Club; and the Texas Eagles FC, Midlothian.
Milosevic graduated from Texas Wesleyan University with a Bachelor of Science in liberal arts and a Master of Arts in education. He also holds a United States Soccer Federation (USSF) license C.
Milo and his wife, Elizabeth, have two children together, Lara and Luka.
Assistant Coach Ivan Franco
Ivan Franco, a native of Gainesville, is entering his first year as the Men’s and Women’s Soccer Assistant Coach at Hill College.
Franco comes to Hill College from the University of Texas at Permian Basin (UTPB), an NCAA Division II school in the Lone Star Conference, where he wrapped up his playing career in the Fall of 2023. Franco appeared in five starts and seven appearances before his season concluded due to injury.
Franco began his coaching career as a volunteer student assistant coach at UTPB. Prior to his collegiate coaching experience, Franco volunteered and assisted at Gainesville High School for three consecutive years during the winter breaks.
Franco also played at Davis and Elkins College in West Virginia, a National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division II program in the Mountain East Conference. He helped contribute to their record of 26-3-3 over the span of two seasons while being nationally ranked both seasons and reaching the NCAA tournament.
Beginning his collegiate career at Hill Junior College, a National Junior College Athletic Association Division I program, Franco contributed two years as a captain, earning a Region V Championship and a District tournament appearance. His teams had a combined record of 22-9 over two seasons.
Franco earned his bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science from Davis and Elkins College. He is pursuing his Master's in Sports Administration at Southeastern Oklahoma State.
Franco will begin earning his United States Soccer Federation “D” Coaching License in 2024.
